Consideration
Speaking of consideration and thinking of others, The Little Men and I were in the car off to the family luncheon, when it suddenly occurred to them that they had no eggs for anybody else! Oh dear! The horrors of horrors!
At ten and eight they have a consceince. Brilliant. I am so proud. And it was particularly delightful to listen to them argue all the way up the mountain about whose eggs they would give away if they felt the need to. "We'll give yours away" said The Middle Man to The Little Man. "Ohhh whhhyyy! I already am one short! Can't we give yours away?"
The Little Man had already had one egg confiscated that morning through rudeness and ungrateful behaviour. But by the time we approached the final turn, they had both decided that they would do what needed to be done and would give theirs away if they did indeed feel bad enough.
Needless to say, they didn't feel that bad, but it was still a pleasure to listen to them try and sort out.
