Cakes and Fétes

Oh dear! I've done it again. Gotten myself in too deep again, that is.

Yep, this time I have volunteered four hours of my time tomorrow (Saturday) to help out at the féte for the Aged Care Facility where Grand Nana lives. That's OK, I can do that. and thoroughly enjoy it too... yes, I can, but I also offered to bake cakes to donate as well... and yes, I didn't look in my diary and I am working today. Brilliant.

To make it all a tad easier, I have totally gone against my normal self and have bought packet cakes @#$#! 8 of them! Oh dear! I thought I would just bake them in those cake containers made of pretty paper that you just leave on... but do you think I could find them anywhere. I went to every kitchen shop and they all said "We don't stock those anymore!" Blast and double blast!

So now, to make my life just that little more difficult, I have to line a thousand cake pans! Me and my big mouth... Lordy lordy lord.
